What is it you do exactly?
I get a lot of questions about what it is I do with consulting and what coaching is. Normally when asked this question, I launch into my elevator pitch about how I help people identify their goals and create a plan for achieving those goals.
But what does that really mean? I’m going to break down the things I do that help people achieve their potential.
I work with clients on both personal and professional issues, starting from the belief that they are not broken and the answers they seek are within. When it comes to coaching, I use a framework for changing coaching. This process relies on the client to bring an agenda while I bring a process involving listening, asking deep questions, and re-framing to bring forth insights and provoke introspection. Doing this helps the client to unlock the answers they seek so we can start creating an action plan.
The career services I offer are pretty straight-forward: resume writing and review, interview skills training, networking skills development. I believe that these things are needed in today’s professional environment and help others by passing along my knowledge and experience.
The service I offer is organizational consulting for large corporations, small businesses, non-profits, and entrepreneurs. The areas that I focus on and provide value in are: organization development, human resources, and strategy. My framework for consulting is simple - assess, make recommendations, and implement changes.
Through these services, I am able to use the gifts I’ve been given to help others unlock their futures.
